About me

Hi ! My name is Akihito. Please call me Aki !

I’m a Japanese teacher.

  • I have been teaching Japanese for about 20 years.
  • I studied how to teach Japanese and English at university.

About my current job

  • I teach Japanese at a Japanese language school in Tokyo.
  • I teach international students who want to study at a Japanese university / vocational school
    and international students who want to work at a Japanese company.
  • I teach EJU / JLPT and interview practice.
    I also prepare for going on to school and getting a job with the students.
  • I teach from beginner to advanced.

About the work I’ve done so far

  • At a Japanese vocational school, I taught international students Japanese and how to get a job.
  • At a Japanese high school, I taught international students Japanese language, lifestyle, and Japanese culture.
  • In a local Japanese language class, I taught Japanese conversation for daily life,
    Japanese customs, and manners of daily life.
  • I taught a new teacher how to teach Japanese.
  • I worked on creating a new Japanese language school.

Trial class 【60minutes 600yen】 First time students only

You can choose the course you want to study and experience it.

Beginner (N5 to N4) Course　　
・Group 【2,500 yen / 60 minutes】
・Individual 【3,000 yen / 60 minutes】

  • This is a conversation-based course. Let’s learn to say what you want to say in Japanese!
  • We will practice by setting “goals” each time.

JLPT (N5 to N1) Course
EJU “Japanese” Course
【3,000 yen / 60 minutes】

  • The JLPT course is designed for those who want to pass one level higher than the current level.
  • The EJU course is for intermediate level students (N3 or above)
    who want to achieve a high score in Japanese.
  • If you have a book you want to use, please let us know. If not, I will decide.

Free Conversation Course
【2,500 yen / 60 minutes】

  • This is a course where you can learn Japanese while enjoying free conversation on any theme you like.
  • Please tell me the theme you want to talk about. If you don’t have one, please choose one
    from the themes I have prepared.
  • I will help you to improve your Japanese while having conversations.
